This course is based on the M. Chekhov acting technique run by award winning actor/director/tutor Elena Stejko. M. Chekhov's simple and practical method is used by professional actors all over the world - Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Johnny Depp and many more.

In this final term, our focus on becoming outstanding actors revolves around the esteemed techniques of Michael Chekhov, whose nearly century-old method has resurfaced as a prominent approach within Hollywood. Renowned for its effectiveness in on-camera work, and the method's inherent value in fostering creativity and spontaneity in performance.

During this course actors get introduced to the fundamental elements of M. Chekhov technique and the character creation process : Atmosphere, Psychological gesture, qualities and body centres. The participants will be learning the basic elements of the M. Chekhov acting technique for stage and screen.
